Well Hello there and how are You today!? So glad You stopped by to spend some time with Us today on Our Front Porch!! Always so good ta see You! Work going well? Hope Your job is going great and Your Family fat and sassy! Slip Your shoes off and have a seat. We always love a visit from Yall!
We had a short four day work week away from the Ranch that went by pretty quick. Unfortunately the weekend seems to be going by just as fast. I was hoping to get so many things done and just don’t have time to get it all finished. We spent most of Saturday working on my car and doing the wash and a few other little chores. Most of the Ranch Family did managed to watch the Carolina game and the Clemson game on TV together. Win or lose, that’s always a fun time!
Proverbs 19:21 Many are the plans in a Man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.
I am going to work on some embroidery I am doing for a real sweet Friend of Mine this evening. I am using one of the bedrooms at the Ranch House for a sewing\craft room. I usually do all My embroidery by hand but I have gotten an embroidery sewing machine a few months ago and I am finally going to take the time to try and use it. I remember when I was just little thing, Grandmama gave me a piece of fabric with My name written in chalk and a needle and thread to sew over it with. That’s how I learned to spell my name before I even started school. Yall she would make the most beautiful quilts out of mere scraps! I always think about Her when I sew.
I wanted to show Yall the Fall wreath I made for the front door of the River House. My Momma could make the most beautiful flower arrangements and wreaths and was so crafty. I did not inherit Her skills for flower arranging at all but I did put this wreath together, My first one! I don’t think I did too bad with it!
Oh yes and here is the marble flooring I helped Brian put down in the Foyer at the River House. I think it turned out real pretty! Next I am going to learn how to put down wood flooring. I can”t wait.
Isaiah 41:13 For I am the Lord, Your God, who takes hold of Your right hand and says to you, do not fear, I will help you.
Hopefully this week I will have time to bake some homemade bread. We have Hurricane Florence paying Us a visit towards the middle or end of the week I think, so I am going to try and get the bread baked before then for the Ranch Family.
Isaiah 43:2 The Lord will carry You through the storm.
