Well Hey There Yall! So good to see Ya today on Our Front Porch! Sure hope You Have been doing well and everything going good at Your House. We all been busy as bees between Our regular jobs and Chores at Home. I would offer Yall some coffee but I am shame to say I am plum out of Maxwell House and that’s the only kind We ever perk at the Ranch. But, I got a new pitcher of sweet tea made or if You want something hot I have some hot chocolate. The kettle is full and warm in the fireplace in the kitchen Sugar, You know You are always at Home here.
Proverbs 24:3-4 (NKJV)
3 Through wisdom a house is built,
And by understanding it is established;
4 By knowledge the rooms are filled
With all precious and pleasant riches.
We sure have been enjoying this cooler weather lately. I just love sleeping with the windows open under one of Our homemade Quilts. Oh that reminds Me… I got to tell Yall this. I am just too excited! My Gracie has decided to start quilting with Me so She is going to be helping Me hand quilt a lot of the quilted items We are going to be selling this year for some extra money. I taught all My Children to sew. I taught all My Girls to Crochet too. Grace is just sooo creative, I can’t wait to see what She designs in Her Quilts and other Crafts!
Proverbs 22:6 (KJV)
6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
This time of year is always busy at the Ranch. We have a couple small Prayer Meetings We would like to do, We have Our normal farm chores, plus getting everything ready for Winter, plus getting The Ranch ready for each Holiday. In addition to all of this, We have a Wedding of one of Our best, good Friend’s Daughter to go to in Georgetown. AND then the Ranch will host its very first Wedding in December. So not only will there be Christmas Bells ringing this year, there will be Wedding Bells as well! What a blessing God has given Us!
I’m very excited but I am wondering how I will get everything done! With Me working full time, Im gonna be running around like a chicken with my head cut off! But its Like my Aunt Lucille told me.. “Keep calm and put Your Pearls on Baby.” I know its gonna be ok! Thank goodness I got My Family to help Me! Yall please keep Us in Your daily Prayers that We get everything at the Ranch done on time! I know its going to be wonderful and happy!
Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)
31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
